What a wonderful end to the Luca and Fallon story, it is very touching and powerful read. It is a very fast pace action packed story of love and betrayal. This story has many twist and turns, with mystery of how done it. It will take you to a life you have not seen before and teach you a few things about trust and loyalty. You will become part of the story and find yourself cheering for the crime boss. If you haven’t read For Fallon you should. I do have to say the author has grown and improved in her writing. I can see such a difference in For Luca. Not saying that For Fallon was an outstanding read it was. For Luca can be a standalone read, I recommend you do read For Fallon first. It fills you in on a lot of what is going on. The author does fill you on the important parts which makes this a standalone read if you so desire.

For Luca and Fallon they have had some trying times, trust seems to be the big issue. How they meet is wild and Fallon has to work through being setup by Luca to get information out of her that she doesn’t have. Then she has to work through what he does for a living which is way past what her mind can wrap around. This book picks up where the other one leaves off, they have parted ways because Fallon can’t deal with the fact that Luca is underboss of the Chicago Syndicate. Luca cannot forget about her, he starts drinking. Fallon is about to find out she needs him in more than one way.

Luca is a very powerful man, he is use to people jumping when he said jump that is everyone but Fallon. This is a case he can’t live with her and he can’t live without her. He is tore for he must put his job and the people who work for him first but he finds he is putting Fallon above that. He won’t live long if he doesn’t get his act together. As a crime boss there is always someone out there trying to take you out unless you keep on top of your game. It is killing Luca but he has finally decided to let her go, it has been a very tough time but times are about to get tougher.

Fallon can’t get over that her boyfriend kills and sales drugs for a living. Her life is either black or white, but life isn’t that way, sometimes there must be a little gray. Fallon is about to find out how tough life is when she gets setup for killing her boss. She only has one person she can turn to and he doesn’t want anything to do with her. If that isn’t bad enough she finds there are more people out to get her. Can they find a way back to each other and work though the hand life has dealt them before they both end up dead? They both still love each other and the attraction is as strong as ever. They must learn to trust the other before they can work on getting through trying time and hopeful build a life together.

The author gives you a very action pack, fast story that you will find you are turning the pages to see what happens next. You will not want to put this book down, and will read it pretty much at one seating. You are given passion at its best with lots of passion scenes that will get your heart pumping. This author has a way of telling a story that keeps not only your interest but keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more. Even though this is the end of Luca and Fallon’s story I find I can’t wait for book three to come out. The authors writing style gives you an even flow and has you hooked from the start. This book is very easy to follow, with heartbreaking issues. You will find your hearts breaks for the characters, and will smile as they go through the dance of learning to love and trust. I found I myself could not put this book down, I had to know what happen. If you are looking for an action pack, keep you on the edge of your seat read this is the book for you. It will be on sale 10-25-14 make sure you pick up your copy. You still have time to read book one For Fallon before this one is released. This is one story you do not want to miss…..

First I should say I'm a fan of mafia crime books. I loved Soraya Naomi's first book, For Fallon and was hoping this one would be just as good. She did not disappoint. I wondered if Fallon and Luca would be able to get past the things that happened in book 1 and then all they go through in book 2 is heart breaking. Soraya does a great job of conveying the depth of feelings these two have for each other and I love how much the two of them love each other. It's also interesting to watch Fallon go from seeing only in black and white and more the gray of life because of the things that happen to them. I love that she gave them a HEA but not before making them go through hell to get there. I can't wait to read Adriano's story and more from Soraya in general. I'm definitely a fan
I LOVED this book, and I can't recommend it enough, but I do recommend reading the first book in the series,
For Fallon, first so that you don't miss out on the background info leading up to For Luca and because it's a wonderful book as well!

For Luca takes off from where For Fallon ended with a small cliffhanger, and it never stops! Luca and Fallon work throughout the book to overcome the obstacles that Luca's Mafia lifestyle throws at them while Fallon battles her own additional problems, and throughout, the action, angst and gut-wrenching suspense just keep coming and coming. As soon as you think it might slow down, something else happens to tie you up in knots.

For Luca is everything I want in a romantic suspense--it's action-packed, it's sizzling hot, it's gritty, it has some dark parts, and it's full of trials and tribulations that push both Fallon and Luca to their emotional AND physical limits. (that Fallon is one tough cookie!) Add two sexy Mafia alphas on top of all that (we can't forget my man, super hot Adriano!), and you have a book that you just can't put down.

Like For Fallon, I love that For Luca is intelligently written, has great character development AND growth, and I really love that we get to see more of the alpha Mafia underboss side of Luca. Throw in some sizzling hot sexy times and one of the best epilogues I've read in a long time (Soraya Naomi gives Kristen Ashley a run for her money!), and For Luca completely socks it to the reader (in a good way!)

Although it was bittersweet to see the end of Luca and Fallon's story, I. CAN'T. WAIT. for 'For Adriano' to come out in 2015! As much as I love Luca, I LOVE, LOVE Adriano's crassness and his smart mouth, and I think he'll probably end up being my favorite!

'For Luca' is the follow-up to 'For Fallon' and is the 2nd book is the Chicago Syndicate series. 'For Adriano', the 3rd book in the Chicago Syndicate series, will be released in 2015!
I don't even know where to begin with this one! Book one - For Fallon - was only the third book I have ever read that dealt with the mafia. I wouldn't say I struggled with the first book because it wasn't so much a struggle but I had to learn a lot of the mafia "lingo". With this one, I jumped right in and was lost in all the danger, angst, betrayal, and romance. Yeah, there were a few times I wanted to slap some sense into Fallon but at the same time I could totally understand her doubt and fear. At the same time I could understand Luca's frustration with her and him being so torn between being there for her and wanting to walk away from her forever. The story was well-written and you could see and feel the characters grow and learn to love and trust one another. As with the first book, there were tears and laughter and of course times when I wanted to throw my at the wall. I loved the way the story wrapped up and cannot wait to read Adriano's story!!
